Okay so first let me say that I hear everyone wants to see pics so I will post some this week so everyone can see my life in color!

This weekend was busy! My roommate works for the Public Theater so she gets lots of cool perks like free plays and music venues. We went to a play on Friday night. It was really good but intense! It was a play about Genocide in the Sudan (told ya it was heavy!) and then we went to her friend’s apt and socialized with some other friends. Just so happened that most of the people there were Aggies (they are just coming out of the woodwork!).

We all had a long conversation about BlueBell ice cream and Rotel. You can’t get those things up here!

Saturday night we went to a place called Joe’s Pub which had Michael Penn performing. He was good, kind of James Taylorish and yes, he is Sean Penn’s older brother.

Sunday I went to a church called “The Redeemer”. I have heard great things about this church. It was good but I must admit, it was no Prestonwood! I plan to visit the Brooklyn Tab at some point but I will definitely visit The Redeemer again!

So that was my weekend in a nutshell. Oh yeah, and I also saw Peter from Office Space walking by Friday night! First real star sighting!!!

Useful tip: Do not see Gumby the movie! Saw it at the Tribeca Film Festival and um I think I am a little dumber for having seen it!
