I think I have seen it all here in the big apple. Let me explain, there are some crazy (I can’t stress this enough) I mean CRAZY people in this city! I have seen people talk to themselves, tell everyone they are an angel sent from God (yes, this really did happen) push their dogs in a stroller, and sing outloud to the music in their head but I have just experienced a new one this week!

Yesterday I was sitting on the subway and it was a bit busy. I luckily had a seat but there were people standing around me. I look over (if you live in NY you know that it isn’t always wise to make a lot of eye contact on the commute so usually you just kind of keep to yourself) and notice a grey argyle sock puppet with eyes, sitting across from me. The puppet was busy looking around and making faces. I started thinking “what the bleep”. My first thought was that this woman attached to the back end of this puppet must have a child with her that I am unable to see. I crane my neck to look around the standing people and um yeah, nope, not a kid within a mile radius! This woman did this for a while. The thing is that she looked normal. She wasn’t weird looking or dressed funny, she just felt the need to have a buddy on the subway. Is candid camera still on TV?

I think I have mentioned before how bad your feet can hurt living in the city. It is Friday night and my dogs are barkin so I am going to get the foot spa machine thingy that my roommate gave me for Christmas and sit in front of the tv. Man I’m old!
